An Idea!

Here's an Idea...
Duh huh.. I've always wished that our forum could be more pro active and vocal in some instances where newspapers and some other stupid anti's pop up stupid and illconcieved ideas regarding guns and their ownership.. eg: Recently there was an article and also mention in our forum of India having the largest collection of civillian arms in the world.. Of course stupid.. India has the second largest population in the world! Even if one person in a thousand owned a gun, It would still have a very large number of guns! This point was never mentioned in the newspaper article!
I believe we have to speak out.. Yesterday was it this morning? We read about the Maoists being armed with bigbore weapons and the suggestions by a so called expert of banning these so called bigbore guns! I would love to see the day whern such so called experts get their opinions shot down with answers like

What a bunch of jackasses - Thompsons being supplied by foreign countries? Quite apparently, it never occurred to these specialists that the government of India has the largest inventory of Thompsons in storage in the region. Very foreign indeed. Why, they are still in use in many state police forces.... unless by 'foreign' they mean the neighboring states... or maybe blame the evil US of A... after all thats where the Tompsons came from in the first place... wow! now the US is backing commies. The damn einsteins should be dismissed for burdening the taxpayer with their pointless amateurish service.
More than enough legal Mausers around. Don't know of any Mauser user or manufacturer in the region other than China... but then it's pointless supplying mauser reproductions when an AK or Tokarev or Makarov clone is cheaper and easier to hand out...
Its a a real pity! The way I see it, Newspaper and the powers that be have to rely on whatever answers are given to them from where ever they find it.. If no one stands up to give another opinion they accept the only available opinion as the safest possible route..
I want to suggest an editorial section to this forum where answers to such idiotic articles are choked out within the forum and sent to various newspapers as "letter to the editor"
