Very sad indeed.
I have already started the process for my wife and daughter. My younger daughter is only 14 at present hence a long way to go before she can get her AL. And I expect the procedure for getting an AL would get more difficult. Then she can inherit my or my wife's guns.

Just an FYI, New Jersey is one of the 3 states out of 50 in the US where you cannot carry a gun. Although she could have carried a gun in her driveway, laws are so strict that she could not even have one unloaded in her car while coming and going. Since she was returning home, there is almost no way she would have had a gun with her if she had one.
