when asked by MRCTV if you should be able to use a firearm to defend yourself against someone who is putting your life in danger, the same woman said, "No...only a law enforcement officer should be allowed to use weapons."

Joseph pressed her, asking: "So, you're in the wrong place, you're screwed?"

Her response: "Yes."
Priceless!

Sadly, it's the same story in our country. Most people I speak to say that it is the job of the Police to protect them. Agreed, that is true, but they don't realise that each of us are the first and the last line of our own defense! Some people even say "oh! that's the Army's job!". I've known of instances where the Police have been fired upon, and all that they have done is cower in fear.
Justice alone is the mainstay of government and the source of prosperity to the governed, injustice is the most pernicious of things; it saps the foundations of the government and brings ruin upon the realm - Sher Shah Sur, Sultan-ul-Adil.

Poor misguided fools. Do they really believe that if all the law abiding folks gave in their weapons then the only folks left armed would be law enforcement?
Their own fear of weapons leads them to want to disarm the rest of us…
So sad…
