Nagri succesfully stalled the bill from being passed in the last session of Parliament.
The bill has been referred to the Home Standing Comittee Chaired by Hon'ble Shri Venkiah Naidu and 29 other MPs for reconsideration. Nagri is preparing a presentation for the consideration of the committee and expects to be called by them.

Impact of the new so called policy is already impacting in delhi.
Today i went to submit form for the area addition, till now even on the Delhi Police site and on there form, its mentioned that we can attach ancestral property papers, but today i was told that as per the new circular, only properties in the name of self or your wife will be considered.
Also when i enquired about the addition of weapon, i was told that you can hold only 1 weapon, in rare scenario will you given additional weapon, I did try meeting the Dy ACP on this but wasn't able to get through.

All this is unconstitutional nonsense, including the MHA circular. It is all happening because of ignorance of common people. If you want to understand the concepts deeply then refer

Thats the reason i wanted to meet the Dy ACP. But if they say no, what should be my next action. Its better to be prepared.

Meeting any level of bureaucrat Dy. ACP, CP etc. etc. is not going help and the best he will give you some hypocritical verbal sympathy. The matter has to be fought at the legislative and judicial level. Meaning the MPs have to be educated about this unconstitutional nonsense and courts have to be approached for the same.

Thats a long term battle, that we are already fighting, but i think making these ppl also aware of the citizen being aware of their right might help them rethink in just putting circulars in deptt.
, I will take note of the regulations that are mentioned and then try re questioning them.

Isuggest that NAGRI to call for suggestions and drafts from various gun forum members and and gun owners and common citizens to identify loopholes ,stumbling blocks and ambiguous rules, schedules, bores & classifications, time limits, ammo quotas, validity clauses that need to be cleared/ withdrawn/ changed/simplified/ and made CORRUPTION PROOF and also make the process of getting the arms license , a win win for both the common citizen and the Govt Baboos.
