Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

The full credit for this goes to our Patron in Chief Shri. Digvijay Singh ji who took the lead on this - all Indian citizens owe him a debt of gratitude for standing tall on this issue.

We should be in a position to post a detailed account (the drafting is in progress) of the meeting by tomorrow as well as copy of the petition (covering letter + addendum detailed critique of the new arms policy) which was submitted by the delegation to the Hon'able Prime Minister of India.

The news has been picked up by almost every major English & Hindi daily as well as several regional papers. Most have simply carried the news which came over the wire services, but others have gone into more depth. :)

Cheers!

This is really excellent! Shri. Digvijay Singh ji is a true gentleman! He is speaking for the truth and the rights of citizens.
