Congratulations to abhijeet and the others for making NAGRI a force to reckon with. Even the India Today has published the article on the unfair changes to the Arms Act.Why does one need to have a threat to life to possess a gun? Doesn't the govt know the meaning of the word "hobby" or "enthusiast"?? Keep up the good work please. I ill try to contribute my bit for cause. Have already made the GRSA guys join NAGRI as well as passed on many forms to the dealers for distribution.

Just a little query.
If one can write out a cheque to the association, would they be accepted? And incase it is accepted, what name do should one write out the cheque in?

Money in any form is not being accepted by NAGRI at the moment. At the moment please get maximum members for NAGRI. Participation of members and creating awareness about NAGRI & RKBA is the most thing at the moment.

Nobody has been given any response till now, because of the illegal order of MHA dated 31.03.2010 and Arms Amendment Bill 2010 to legalize this order, NAGRI has more pressing issue to fight against these.

I would like to add that this is really a great initiative. I'd love to be a part of this. I have downloaded the form, and I am just done with filling all the details. Well, let me introduce myself to everyone, here. I am Saif, and I live in Mumbai. Reason for joining? It's just my love for the guns. I am a fashion photographer, and run my own interactive ad agency. I want to know how do I go about mailing NARGI with the membership form. Do I need to fax or snail mail it? Please let me know. And, I'd definitely spread the word, here in Mumbai, and get a lot of people to sign-up.

Nearly all of the air guns available in India are exempted from licensing.

Good news! Went to Pune for a business meeting. After the meeting, on coffee, I told my clients about NAGRI. They're Sr. management people at Hyundai India. They loved the idea, and said they'd join. Asked them to check the website, and download the form. So, with me, there are other 25+ folks who're joining. Feels like achievement. Is it time to party?
