Here is mine," Why can't a citizen have a firearm imported for sport and self defense? How does the ban prevent the law breakers from having firearms? While we can't have one to save our lives and property. Why is getting a firearms license such a painful procedure? More people are killed by automobiles and yet even people who can't drive have no problem in acquiring a driving license? Will someone please explain?"

i had to remove the question marks though.

Dear Lionheartguru,
Posting an article in TOI is a good move, I have no doubt regarding your writing skills, however, if its all the same to you, could you be kind enough to pm me the draft before sending it to them. The reason being, that if your article is published, then it is sure to draw some response. In order to get the maximum positive response, some ideas, need to be crafted very carefully, such that ,the nuances of the same, strike the reader at the subconscious level.

The site is retarded as our Govt. Remove all the characters marked above from your post. They only allow (.) and (,).

That should hopefully get you through....

Hi Lionheart,

That's a great initiative, as HVJ1 has mentioned, the article needs to be crafted very minutely, If we are taking the route to Media, we shall bear one thing very clearly in Mind, it can backfire at a very small mistake. If you dont mind and P.M the same to me as well.

Yes it makes sense, I am attaching the same again after making some changes, please see if it is all right. Send not just to "some" newspapers but to as many as possible, if possible to every form of media in India.

thanks everybody

however its not me who's gonna write it ....
its you all who are gonna write, view, comment ,edit etc etc ... i will just make sure that it is published...
and yaa these people asked me " who's name do we mention as the writer?" ... i was blank :?
coz that person has to take the responsibility to face the whole media ... just in case we get "publicity" !
i mean a responsible face to RKBA ...

you guys please decide and let me know ... i am ready to do what it takes
i suggest ravi sharma ,zake and tingriman in writing ...since i read their articles...as it is everybody HAS to write something(infact everything) ...PLEASE :)
