In response to protests by students against the Radhika Tanwar shooting demanding a safer Delhi news reports say that Delhi CM Sheila Dixit places the onus on the public. Considering that thr police force is a reactive force in most cases can she also tell us if the public see a gunman are we supposed to use sticks and stones to stop them or post them doing theit heinous task take out a paper and start drawing their pictures so that the police can then hunt them down. If the public was armed there might have just been a different ending to this story. (By the way can our great ministers tell us whether in such cases there existed a previous percives and verrifiable threat)
