Namaskar mandali. (Kolhapuri in Scotland)

Hello Members, greetings
Myself Siddharth, 32 years old male and greying faster. originally from Kolhapur, now in Scotland. (And no I am no pailwaan aka wrestler)
I have been to this forum some time back but did not register then, now as I have officially taken up the sport so have registered and will be keen to participate in forum as well competitions.
To start with; my gun cabinet has .22lr Ruger Deluxe Semi-auto with a economic Hawke scope on it. Serves good for my 50 yard's practices.
My first love is definitely side by side shotgun, even though I never owned one. Always used over and under shotgun for blasting clays, but fancy the beauty, which is s/s.
very first full bore love happenend with 1905 Swedish Carl Gustav mauser 6.5 x 55. I just love it, dont know why. Now my gun cabinet holds it for me. And the group was good enough for 100 yards, minus my marksmanship, which is at the bottom of learning curve still taking shape.
Hope not to offend anyone and be of help to common cause. I do appreciate your time.
Thank you and regards
Siddharth

Namaskar Brihacharan,
Sashtang Dandvat. I see you are very senior, respect for you, sir.
Never fancied wearing kilt, let alone cult. Especially in the cold weather wearing kilt without any other cloth under is beyond my apprehension.
Agree on nursing and nurturing and also preserving the originality.
On that note recall, the fellow from wom I bought the swedish mauser had came across another mauser when buying in first place and that gun had holes drilled in the stock to fit modern scope. He called it plain butchery and forego the gun.
This Sunday I have pre-season North East Scotland Shooting Club Competition, as I dont own a pistol calibre rifle will enter only in one detail for .22. Three practices at 25 yards. Hope to get little practice this Saturday on the range. To be honest I am right now at the bottom of the chart in club competitions. Still a humungous learning curve to be sustained.
Have to go for now. More soon.
Good to talk.
Siddharth
Hope to learn from your experience.

lesson one 'scotch' can be a whiskey or an egg, as in scotch egg
lesson two. Scot or Scottish is a person from Scotland
also known as jock, highlander
man in skirt, i mean kilt.
