Welcome aboard Felix, I believe there are at least a couple of other aeromodelling enthusiasts on here... Hope you enjoy your stay on these boards :)

Thanks mundaire, and please call me ragav. I just got hold of the felix because i love the cartoon :P

As far as aeromodelling is concerned i still have a high winger complete with 4 channel FM RC. the only porblem is i was using a "desi" make engine and the engine's crank quit mid air but the plane did come down in one piece.

I lost interest mainly because the airstrip was too far away to drive to and the group would normally meet only on sunday morning at 6. I couldn't risk losing a sunday morning's sleep esp since my 12th grade boards were coming up.

I still hold the though of selling it to someone more eager but not many taker's for a costly hobby eh ? (spent nearly 20k on the stuff but was willing to part with it for a fraction of the cost.)

But with so many youngsters looking for unique things to spend time on i hope the equipment get cheaper here in india.

But As far as Ham radio is concerned i have a lot to keep going with. My current callsign is VU3VWR. I love Homebrewing (geek speak for home building your own gear) and chasing rare stations on air.

Besides this i love working in shortfilms and have worked in 3 Shortfilms and 2 Docu's as the DOP.

I love photography as well and do some candid photography besides macro.

I am also what people would call a " Beer Connoisseur"...

Sorry if i veered OT. I guess i do gab a lot :)

Cheers!

Ragav
