Hello...
I just happened to discover this forum by chance...and boy am I glad!

I'm looking to buy an air rifle, maybe a diana or weihrauch and would like to become a member of KSRA where I can practice.

I used to shoot with my Dad at the old KSRA on mysore road when I was a kid and have represented Karnataka and Coorg Rifle associations in many competitions in the sub-junior events.

Haven't shot in many many years and would love to get back and try my hand in it. I have a 5 yr old and can't wait for him to be old enough to try his hand at it.

My old Diana is old as the hills now and I would like to invest in a new one.

Would really appreciate some inputs on the following..
1) Brand and model number
2) .177 0r .22
3) Name of a store where I can get one.
I tried calling Kovi shop but he had no stock and said he had no idea when he would receive any.
Also tried bangalore armoury but the gentlemen who answered didn't sound very enthusiastic about receiving my call.

Cheers!

Rohaan

Welcome aboard ricochet, hope you enjoy your stay here.... and never have to face any (ricochets)!

BTW, don't give up on the old girl just yet, replacing the usual parts (breech seal, piston seal, main spring etc.) and a bit of TLC should get her shooting as new...

Cheers!
Abhijeet

Welcome aboard ricochet. Fellow Bangalorean here. You will not be allowed to use a .22 airgun at the KSRA range. It has to be .177 only. Will check with a friend about the internals for a Diana. PM me about what exactly you need done.
