Non-Citizen Import?

First, to the admins:
Thanks for hosting this site. There is alot of good information in it.
And thanks to all the sensible contributors for sharing the knowledge.

I have been visiting India often, since 20 years. Although I am not by birth or blood Indian, I have been blessed to have Indian friends and family and look forward to seeing them whenever I get a chance. I love India and I appreciate firearms. I have often thought of obtaining a license for a weapon there and I am more intensely considering it after our terribly tragic recent events. The world, along with India, suffers from it.

My problem is this:
This is an extensive forum and there is so much to pour through I figured I'd ask my questions directly and see if I can get more direct information.

I have had a CCW permit for Oregon, USA for about 5 years now. My weapons are .45acp Glock 30, .38 spcl. CHP issue (Grandfathers), and Rem. 870 Pump action 12 ga. 3".
From what I understand at least 2 of my owned weapons are prohibited. The .45 acp and the .38 spcl. I have heard from numerous sources that pump-action shotguns are prohibited as well, although I had trouble substantiating this through this website forum. I'd like to get a definite answer on this question.

So here goes...
Can an Indian citizen obtain a pump-action Rem 870. 12 ga. 3" shell-firing, 20"barrel shotgun?
Can an Indian citizen obtain a Marlin Lever Action 1894GS 45/70 scout rifle?
Can an Indian citizen obtain a .357 or .44 mag?
(Sounds pretty John Wayne eh? ) These are what I have been considering getting or already have.

Can we substitute a non-Indian citizen for all 3 questions?

Is there any more information I should learn and from where?

Thank you for your feedback.

welcome abroad Cannon :) an indian license is not based on citizenship and it is based on residency.pump actions,44mag,357mag and lever action rifles are perfectly legal.you can read the legal section on this forum for more detailed info on imports.hope you have a warm stay abroad :)
