Today after a few tries I finally managed to register on this forum though I have been a regular visitor for about 4 years. I am an old surgeon with a keen interest in all weapons.
Used to be a hunter half a lifetime ago , but am now also a consultant to the local conservation effort when they neeed a doc for tranquilization and other medical/ surgical needs ( I am a Human Surgeon by trade)
Hobbies well you name it ill take it up
lately started shooting pistol in the state comp so lets see
I restore old pneumatic air rifles as a hobby as it is a great challenge I have a crossman pellgun (101) from the time before it was numbered and it is a beaut to shoot.
I also have a 22 Marlin, 30.06 winch , crossbows of both sizes. my diana 23 which I got in 66 from England and use it for point shooting and a various collection of air guns in stages of repair.
I was into knife making and throwing but lost interest in the making any more.
I do my own bluing parkerization lathe work ( the lathe was bought when i got the crossman 101 in a basket)
Also breed lurchers for my mango farm where the panther eats 5 dogs a year ( not since I made wire mesh kennels)
Bikes I drive a norton 500 (1937 16H ) for fun
And ya to all you young chaps out there.
LIFES FUN LIVE IT YOU ARE THE ONLY LIMIT TO YOURSELF
Cheers Sawbones
