Hi all! I stumbled on your website last night, and was fascinated reading about guns and shooting in India. It's always interesting for me to see how firearms enthusiasts fare in countries where gun ownership is challenging. I am a 57 year old mental health therapist located in Portland, Oregon USA. I am married with three sons. Have been shooting and collecting since age 8. Rifles are my number one interest, followed by handguns and shotguns. I own about 75 firearms. 20% discount to moderators if I move to India. I once had a dealer's license here, but never made money at it because I didn't have the heart to charge full price to a shooter.

Welcome to IFG. If you were in India or I was in Portland....I would say to you "Please adopt me.....Daddy!"
I gather you could very well contract out your arsenal to one of our major Police Stations (Precints in your case) and still have some left over for renting to some of us!

Welcome aboard Garyhan and do post pictures of your collection. Here in NY area for more than 5 guns one needs to purchase a gun safe etc and have it inspected by the police, are you required the same in OR?
