Greetings
First of all - a great website. Some of the content and technical discussion I read are the best I have seen anywhere. Very knowledgeable folks, so I decided to join.
My intoroduction to guns was by dad when he bought me a BB gun for my seventh birthday. That was followed by numerous shooting camps in NCC both in Junior and Senior Div - State and Natl level. My school awarded me a life membership in one of the Rifle Assn in a major Indian city. However I could neither get a license (guess was too young then) nor afford more than 25 rounds of 22 ammo on my own.
My current resident country has been quite liberal. And fellow members have been very friendly. I got to experience almost every type of shooting possible, over the last decade and finally settled on my favorite - flintlock rifles and blackpowder muzzleloader shotguns of the bygone era. Its slow paced but has a culture and following of its own. Also becuase I can shoot a ball with a flintlock more accurately than a big bore centerfire rifle, and can break more birds with a muzzleloader than a custom fit perazzi. I suppose its me, not the gun!!
My other hobbies are archery, fly fishing and golf.
Regards
