Hallo Gun Mates,
Only today I suddenly find this web site and was pleasantly surprised that there is a Gunners forum in UAE.I am member of several UK,Canadian,US,Russian and Bulgarian forums for years now,but finaly i finding the rear chaice to meet and chat with Gunmates not from 10000 miles away but here ,in UAE.That is so Cool!!!
Let me introduce muself with few lines:
My name is Georgi and I am half Bulgarian(dad) and half Russian(mum) ,Bulgarian citizen.In UAE since Feb.1998. I am 45 / Married with 3 kids.
At present working as a Airfreight Operations Incharge in a Big Canadian Logistics Corporation situated in Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Fall in Love in Airguns in the summer of 1969(:for my 7th birthday my uncle bought me small Diana 230 Cadett / second hand in 0.177 cal....slept with it for the next few moths. :?
Here I bought my first Airgun in 2005 from Al Sayad Shop (Where Else ?)
That was Gamo Shadow 1000 in 0.22 cal.

My passion is the precission target long range shooting.I am not a Hunter .I am a Spotsman.

I am a fan of the high power rifles,and caliber 0.22,but with pleasure plinking with 0.177 just for fun...

My favorite brand is Weihrauch:they best know how to do high quality springers.
Of course I have my wet dreams for Daystate Air Ranger in 0.25 cal / in class 80 foot/pounds,or FX-2000 / Black Widow ....not here,not now....,

For the first time I saw UAE flag posted in Air Gun Forum just Today!!!In Your forum.That make me think that finaly I found the most descent Society of Air Gunners,It seems that this forum is very open,flexible and many people helping eachother with knowledge & experience.

Hey Yaj,
My favorite kind of fishing is Beach Casting,or bottom fishing from one of my boats.
Otherwise I am practicing all styles of sports fishing(that means no webs,traps,explosives and etc.).Anything You can do with rod and reel...and catcing from tiny reef fishes to Sail Fishes and hammer heads...

Cool! Angling is something I try to indulge in too :wink: , some of us here are members of this angling site www.indianangler.com you can check it out. You may even find some angling buddies from the UAE there.

There is no a specific topic from the law treating silencers and other accesoires,simply because in UAE,except Air Guns in 0.177 & 0.22 (0.25 is not alowed) there are no other weapons.as i said Earlier,Pneumatics is in the Group of Sports Excersize equipment.
Fire arms can be seen with the cops and the army.That's it.
For one AK-47 found in your car you can "get" 15 years in Jail.
Well there is nothing ilegal to shut quiet here ,but better not to show off.
I ve been checked many times by the police in my desert shooting sessions,and on the question what is this?silencer? my answer is always : no this is just sound moderator" the uniformed guys thinking 1 minute after that said : Aaaa,Ok.Have a nice day.....

Please note,these on the picture are not silencers,but sound moderators... :roll:
