Indians For Guns

Hi Every one,
First of all I want to thank all the members for treasure-trove of information about Indian arms scenario in the forum that I read as a non-member. I had no idea about ground reality. It took me almost a year to acquire a license due to current Covid situation, from rifle training to issue of licence. I registered as a member after I got my handgun license.
About myself, my name is Dr. Adarsh, I am a physician. I was in the US from 2000 to 2009. I had a Glock pistol from 2006 to 2008. I had at that time no idea about the arms scene in India or else I would brought one of the NPB as a change of residence to India.
I have not bought a weapon yet, but seeking one. I don't know if I should wait or get the OFB's .
I look forward to being a active member of the forum. Love to learn and share.

Pity about the non Glock status, but at least you had fun

Glock will come till next year , wait for few months other companies will also come .

Thank you folks. While I screening few gun shops in Bangalore, came across a S & W 31-1 snub nose in mint condition with the original package and literature. Hardly used. Was tempted. Quoted 7.5, i know I could have gotten it for less, but I am going to wait for couple months to see what comes out in the market..
