Hello All, I am Pritish from Bhubaneswar.

I am a PG student, and had taken up shooting to compete and represent India. I have been practising regularly with an nx100 club elite at home and used to practice with a walther at an academy.

I also have a passion for developing challenging ranges that tests all that is required to compete globally and I am a firm believer that guns shouldn't be used to harm any living being.

I am looking forward to learning from each and everyone of you so that I can shoot for gold in the coming days. Thank you all.

Good luck with your quest for gold. When you go for Tokyo 2020, most probably your fellow shooters may be from the army/paramillitary who will have used guns to harm living beings. That may upset you so make sure you factor that into your training.

I have stated I believe one shouldn't harm , however there are exceptions.

If tomorrow someone attempts to kill me, then I may shoot him/her.

I don't get upset when one uses gun to harm any creature. It's just that I don't use my gun for that purpose.

What I meant was, soldiers are using guns because they have to. There's no way out.

Now, you must be knowing why civilians are sometimes issued licences to buy weapons. It's just for self defence in case of a risk to their lives but that doesn't mean they use it for shooting randomly without any purpose.

But that's just my opinion and I respect your opinion.
