Hello IFGians,
This is Sanket Shirodkar from Goa. I have been following this forum since some time now. I was bitten by bug of shooting since my school days in NCC when i first used a .303 Enfield, with .22 barrel liners it was fun and I remember having shot a 4.5 cm group without much practice. I had no idea we could own an air rifle without license. Whenever i demanded a AR from my parents i was bullied that a license is required to purchase the same. During a recent meeting with one of our customers who owns a handgun i got curious and i stumbled across this wonderful forum. All the myths were vanquished and I finally bought an AR. Its a Precihole NX100 Scorpious I purchased on 24th Jan this year. I am finally able to pursue my hobby. But I have found out that shooting and any one with a gun is considered an antisocial person in the neighborhood. Gun is synonymous to hunting and people do not understand anything like target shooting here in Goa. I wonder then this perception will change.
Regards,
SS
