Hi everybody, I've just acquired my first weapon...a WW Greener .310 and I was wondering if you guys could help me with some more information about it. Here's what I know:
Serial Number: 012139
The butt says W.W.Greener's Club Rifle
It has proof markings on the barrel that I can't make out clearly and also says it was "Made Expressly for ___________ Calcutta"- the rest is not legible.

Welcome to IFG.

I really doubt if you could source ammunition for it in India.
Clear photos showing all the markings would help.

Hi!
So I've been trying to learn more about the Greener. It is a Miniature cadet rifle and serial number 012139 was made in 1902. It is a .310 calibre single barrel martini type rifle with 26 inch barrel. The marking on the gun says "Made Expressly for Lyon & Lyon, Calcutta"- they were agents for WW Greener in Calcutta from 1902 until 1933. I've attached a picture- part of the end of the barrel could not come in it.
