Hello everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

As per the guns I own, I'm strictly into the Indian Break barrel type, as a matter of fact, I own a small dealership wherein I deal with almost all the Indian brands like SISCO, Hunt-R, UTA, National, HEMAN etc.

I'm not really all that well versed with the foreign brands and which is exactly what I'm here to learn from all you knowlegeble folks. And speaking of the Indian type of guns, I try and provide as much info as I possibly can and also will be looking forward to your valuable tips to improve on the same.

Cheers, Avi

Hi AC,
Hey nevermind the comment for that post, speaking of it now, i think you're very right in your concern, afterll we're all gunslinger buddies..so just chill....
No, I'm not a gun Dealer. I deal in Indian makes of Air Guns/Pistols, specifically the break barrel types cos besides a few futile attempts by Indian Humes Pipes IHP/National, no other Indian manufacturer has ever dared to venture into any other variety. I also manufacture two models of my own, namely HEMAN and HAWK- Series1. Besides these two models, all guns/pistols which you find at any of the sports shops, hill stations, roadsides...lol...are generally thanks to me... My business is based in Delhi and I'm supplying to a majority of the Arms dealerships across India. I wouldn't wish to refer the name of my firm cos as per the rules of this site, I donot think its advisable. A large number of our fellow members happen to be my customers as well and I do have the good fortune of interacting with them in person. You see, it isn't just business, I've always been quite passionate about guns and pistols etc. so I like to gather all the relevant info and keep stoking up my database...lol..

Thanks for your interest and do keep posting in,
Cheers,
Avi

Hi,

Your post was indeed interesting. WE do see Hawk and Heman air pistols every where that we travel to. Delhi I see them at every gun and toy shop. Hmmm and hear they are the best.

More than your airpistols I really appreciate the beautiful boxes in which the air pistols are packed. Really innovative. Great work...just keep it up.

Havent you thought of making air guns too ...something like National I mean in terms of quality.

FYI we have absolutely no restrictions on dealers posting here or on them advertising in the Classifieds as long as they clearly indicate that theya re dealers and post a price for all to see.

Thanks AC,
We do our best within the limited resources available and trust me that is speaking volumes about manufacturing HAWK and HEMAN.
NATIONAL definately is a brand to recon with and if you ever get a chance to see their manufacturing facility, you'll be positively surprised. These people are capable of competing with some of the best names in the market, you just have to believe me on that one, yet the products which they finally did put into the market doesn't quite justify their stance.
Guess, the Indian consumer is still a lot more price sensitive and for someone to enter the market as a fulltime dealer isn't yet completely viable. Consider SISCO{Supreme Iron and Steel Company, Pathankot}, they are currently major playrs in the break barrel segment but are primarily manufacturers for Original Arms.
I have always loved the sport and that is simply what keeps me going.

Guess it brings a sense of satisfaction when I see products manufactured at my shopfloor at various sports shops and gift galleries. They might never really be those world class products and the users might never really shake up the world arena, but at the very least, with a HEMAN or HAWK pistols in their hands, they do momentarily aspire to reach those heights. And that's just good enough for me.....

However, there is this new match rifle which I have designed locally and I just might be able to manufacture a few pieces for commercial sale as well. I'll put up the pics of the same in my next post.....

Cheers

Hi Inder,
One doesn't require a license to manufacture Air Pistols since they're exempted under GSR 991 of Arms Act. However, to manufacture Air Guns, due permissions will have to be sought.

.......I know, dont look for logic here....its just the law of the land...lol
