Indians For Guns

Hi all,
I would not like to start it with a sorry but i must for not introducing myself and straight away posted on buy and sell. Thanks Vikram for reminding me.
To start with i'm prakash tibrewal 'aka'bunty basicaly from patna now living in bangalore since last 20 yrs. i was introduced to this forum by Pran whom i meet through indian angler.
Bout guns i can say Father has a webley scott and uncle has a walther .32. Apart from that there are few Donalis which i played and grown with. Was once belted for taking out the pistol in a fete of rage.
I personaly have only National air riefle since the age of 12. One of my close friend Amit GUPTA is a arm dealer in pATNA( CAPITOL GUN HOUSE)together we are applying for a pistol license and plans to buy IAF .32 bore.
I dont hunt and have never killed any living creature from my gun.
I hope now i can join this league of gentelmans.

Glad that you have introduced yourself and you have not taken offence at my post.Nice start you had and a good lesson in responsible gun ownership.LOL. We have many who support legal hunting as a sporting activity and as a tool of conservation and those who do not hunt at all. Only,be prepared to debate.Civilly of course. I personally have nothing against those who do not hunt.All the best and thanks.

Pran is a popular member here and any friend of his is welcome. Our Bangalore group is, perhaps, the second strongest one after the Delhi group in numbers and you could look at meeting up with the members when they get together next. And, as you are an angler, that would also, presumably be a reson to get together as most of the Bangalore group are passionate about angling.

We have no problem with anyone being pro or anti hunting as long as they are pro gun ownership. This group does not encourage hunting in India due to the fact that it is illegal. Anything illegal is a no-no here and can result in yellow carding or a ban. That said, many of us are pro hunting and conservation. In any case, as Vikram rightly points out, we have no problem with debates on the subject. Very often, anti hunters find us to be even more ardent conservationists than their lot are - ane xample is BAngalore based member Inder who has been debating with the anti hunters for a long time on various web fora.

In any case, welcome here and if you don;t have a gun, then you should think about buying an air rifle at first and taking target sports up. DO post often and bring any friends who might be interested in shooting here.
