I am happy to find a fourm where people have passion towards Rifle shooting. well Let me introduce myself
I am Joseph Joy working in IBM india chennai as an I.T engineer.I from Kerala. I got know abt rifiles from my father who was in army. then I joined NCC during my school days to college days. I was in my state NCC shooting team for some time. I participated In GV moulankar shooting competion once.I won Gold medal in Grouping, snap shooting and advance shooting in All kearala NCC shooting competions.
I would like to participate in competion hope i will get everybody in the forums to in that...

welcome mate, you have found the right place here, looks like you have some shooting experience which is good, do share some of your stories as and when. also if you have not done so join the NAGRI for free at the moment, help curb the unseen menace .

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
