Conservations biggest obstacles are Habitat protection (land encroachment, over grazing and deforestation), pollution and poaching, along with Bureaucracy in India. Countries like South Africa provide a model wherein locals participate in the tourism and trophy hunting business and this become beneficiaries as well participants in the conservation effort.
