Hello Friends,

We are a group of young, energetic, enthusiastic, professional target shooters. Our registered range is located at Maharashtra Education Society's Renuka Swaroop Memorial Girls Highschool, Opp. S.P.College, Sadashiv Peth, Pune - 30. We are partially funded by Maharashtra Education Society and affiliated to Maharashtra Rifle Association, Mumbai.

We are determined to help grow our team(s), nourish the shooting sports activity, generate public awareness and interest to help young kids consider 'Shooting' as their sports career like other sports. Our seasoned trainers have carefully designed the training course and material to keep abreast our shooters with the upcoming technologies, techniques in physical fitness besides gaining technical expertise in marksmanship.

We strive to train beginners and enthusiasts to help them emerge as professional target shooters. Eversince its inception in 2007, we have conducted multiple training programs/camps at the end of which, most of the participants became registered members, ready to take on their aspirations to greater heights under the proven guidance of trainers/coaches who have proven their expertise in national/international target shooting competitions and are renowned in the field of Shooting.

Currently we have 10 meter .177 Air Pistol, Air Rifle range with 11 lanes, competition weapons - internationally recognized for proven success like Air Pistols - Morini 162EI, Pardini and Air Rifle - Feinwerkbau to name a few. Our dream is to take all efforts to build a state-of-the-art range where our shooters can practice various categories.

This is NOT an advertisement but just a brief introduction about our group. We are glad to be here on IFG and hope our shooters will definitely gain required information besides guidance from all 'IFGians' (I hope this is OK to call all members of IFG as IFGians. Regret if its inappropriate).

We have started a googlegroup http://groups.google.com/group/mes_astram where all our shooters interact and share their experiences, training hurdles and through our knowledge pool of National/International shooters seek advice, resolution to their problems. Not just that, we also share competition results and snaps as our best learning activity and inspiration. We are sure 'IFGians' would also enjoy and we can benefit mutually.

Again, great to be here on IFG. Would continue posting updates as and when available besides active contribution to queries if feasible.
