Namaskar ,
To All Respected IFG Members,

I am Jaypreet, from Mumbai, a 46 year old, and a businessman (Sales & Services of Electrical & Computer Networking Goods) by profession.
I am not a Member of any shooting club, but am really interested to join one.
I have a passion about SUV's & Guns, and own a Tata Safari & Air Pistols ( Heman Mark 3 & IHP National 5.5mm/.22 ).
I enjoy a lot on Target practicing on Empty Cardboard boxes & Bisleri bottles,
Previously I had a Boxer, But now I have a Rottweiler and he is pure veg. I am not into any hunting games.

I am interested in achieving the Guidance of All You Experienced members, so that I could also give shape to my Shooting Knowledge & Skills.

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your stay here. Remember all types of hunting apart from vermins like RAT and CROW is banned in INDIA so its good that you are not into any type of hunting games :D

Welcome aboard, Jaypreet.
Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

If you like target shooting and want to get into shooting firearms, there are a few ways.You can start with a .22 rifle and take it from there.Also,clay shooting with shotgun.Better to join Maharashtra rifle association and start from there.Stay here and have fun.

Hope you have a nice time here. Most of us here have a passion for guns, SUV's & Dogs (Myself having a boxer). BTW can you guide me in selecting a SUV from Scorpio & Safari, i am personaly inclined towards scoprio.
