Its been a long time

Post by steyrshot » Tue Dec 30, 2008 5:43 pm

What can i say ... its been almost a year since my last post or discuss with you guys. A lot has happened in that time ... met the girl of my dreams, got married and moved to Germany permanently. Sadly that meant giving up shooting on the National circuit and the 2007 Nationals was my last competition event.

The bright side of having a German wife :D is that i was introduced to a whole new world of shooting sports, weapons and styles ... its been enlightening and totally wicked fun.

Im in India for a few days to take of some pending stuff over the new year and hopefully dispose of some of my shooting equipment since i wont be returning for another year. But before returning to the Deutchland hehe and i was hoping to run into some of you while im here.

So heres a big hello to old friends, heres hoping we can meet up or something.

cheers Umang. :D
With regards,
Steyrshot

Welcome back Umang, was wondering where you'd disappeared... do accept my heartiest congratulations and convey the same to your better half :)

Whenever you get some time, do share some of your "shooting adventures" in Germany ;)

Cheers!

Definately will do that, i have some great pics and video of the Dusseldorf shutzen fest .. or shooting festival, and some really good pics of the day i got to spend at the police training grounds where this really huge German police sergeant put me through some combat shooting exercises.
