Hello from England
Hi All
New member here, I am Jonathan Tomlinson from York, England. I am a big bore rifle collector/ enthusiast both collecting and using.
I have rifles from .17 through to .600 bore. I am also a collector of British sporting cartridges being a member of ECRA and the IAA ..
I am a member of both Nitro Express and Accuratereloading forums having joined back in 2005 although I do not get much chance to post much in recent times.
I spent 14 years in the British Army as an airborne engineer officer, leaving finally with the rank of Major. I trained as an army sniper and weapons instructor for all infantry small arms systems and I am a qualified weapons engineer.
I retrained as a solicitor (lawyer) and now work for a British police force as a specialist police legal advisor on policing operations.
Happy to talk about big game rifles, especially as India was the spiritual home of many fine British made guns in the early 1900’s

Hi chui
Do you shoot stalk hunt?
Do you shoot stalk hunt?
You want more gun control? Use both hands!
God made man and God made woman, but Samuel Colt made them equal.
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. by Jose Gasset.

Hello
Thank you for the welcome, I look forward to chatting in coming weeks/ months.
I do shoot, both here in the UK for deer and Europe for driven boar and big game in Africa.
I have a collection of ephemera connected to shooting from fine guncase tools through to a reference collection of rare ammunition which I will be only too pleased to post in due course although being a computer idiot I may ask for some help in posting !!
