My name is Kshitij Shetty. I am based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I am self employed and have my manufacturing units located in the TTC MIDC indl area. I am 27 years old and have been visiting this forum on and off since I was 20 something. Guns have always fascinated me but being in the country I am in and love so much, shooting any fire arm as a hobby has been a far fetched dream at best.

Recently I came across the manufacturing set up of one of India's leading air rifle manufacturers while I was visiting one of my vendors in Thane, Mumbai. Immediately picked up what ever best they had to offer and have been plinking to my hearts content since.

Have since also browsed the entire airgun section of this forum. I look forward to learning, interacting and hopefully meeting up with you guys. My other interest include wild life photography, motorcycling and generally enjoying the outdoors.

from precihole i got the nx100 in .22 cal. Also have got a beretta px4 co2 pellet pistol in .177 and have ordered a diana p1000 in .22 from a local dealer and it is excepted next week. will post up pictures of all three once the diana lands here.
have been practicing at a local range here in vashi (lakshya) but that has been with their .177 preciholes. for some reason they are not too forthcoming in giving memberships to new people and also wont allow use of .22 air rifles in their range... so for now i have only been plinking in my backyard.

The only problem i have had with pellets is that i got over excited and bought a box of gamo lethal pellets in .177 to use on the px4 only to find that they do not even sit in the mag. have since been stuck with these relatively expensive pellets with nothing to shoot them with
Chembur is real close. where do you do your shooting?

Intend to keep the gamo pellets, something on the lines of buying the saddle before the horse

Since you using the same AR, could you advice on how the rear sights can be removed in a way that it can be fitted again. Got the fore sight off, unable to figure out the rear one.

I tried the precipell .22 pellets in my NX100, but the fit was too tight and i had to use a pellet seater every time to push in the pellets. Without seating, the pellet skirts would damage when i close the barrel. Is it the case with you? is it hard to seat the pellet?
I switched over to Mastershot export quality and now have perfect seating and consistently shooting 2cm gps.

@anand, have used the precipells and have had no such problems. It is a snug fit and works just fine.
