303 is a prohibited bore.However as long as a dealer has a license to deal in prohibited arms and ammunition and sells a 303 cartridge to a person with a license for a firearm in this caliber,it is perfectly legal.

im a doctor working in london. used family guns in india:

12g s/s army & navy birmingham.
12g czech s/s
12g indian ordinance.
.315 indian ordinance
.22 indian ordinance
.22 remington
30 springfield
.375 magnum H&H
also the usual assortment of scopes, airguns(all various national and diana), swords and daggers.

now looking to buy my first gun in uk.

If you check out the ifg > forums> introductions and welcomes> welcome dev vrat ,
maybe you all could suggest something to me.

Ya, I know many people who have .303 rifles -Licensed of course! as to where they get their ammo from is still a mystery to me. I don't know of any dealer in this region dealing with PB ammo :)
