What's another good way to promote guns?

How about exchanging "engagement guns" and "handgun garlands"?
My folks are getting a bit hyper nowadays on tying me up with a typical homely girl and they were willing to consider my every concern. So I spoke about it but it seemed they didn't digest the idea well.

Maybe a 'Swayamvar' where the girl who shoots the apple off your head ...

Why should she aim in a hurry when there shall be plenty of time available later? Wearing a bullet belt is a better idea and a tank or a jeep with a HMG mounted replacing the horse/carriage/car.

But TenX, your idea is well suited for a Swayamvar reality show. Girl hits and stays a spinster for the next 5 years; she misses, the guy wins 1 crore and gets to marry the prettiest one from the female participants. However, the bullets must be laser guided and guy must be allowed to dodge the approaching bullet.

See.. either way, if the girl is not akin to shooting, your life is sc**w*d anyways.... and the rest of the married life will be trying to balance shooting with family. On the other hand, if the girl shoots well, she not only gets a husband, but the guy gets a girl who atleast understands shooting to some level...

Come to think of it.. we have a lot of champion shooters who are still bachelors.. maybe the crowd, with the present rise in reality shows, will gladly agree to this... However, I am wondering if we should have sighter shots

Cannibalism.. hmm.. surely an option.. which will promote marriage as well as population control.. selection of the fittest... Maybe we could take this to a 'BigBoss' jungle. equip contestants with guns, and after several blood baths, the remaining contestants can marry!
