Its the 1938 Guido Poggi PhotoShop 38, also called the Suicide Special. What I did not understand is why it has more than a one shot. For the application, Idathunk that it'd be a singleshot, fixed breach gun. I also don't know what the idea behind the front sight post. It goes to show you, there's a market for everything. If you make it, they will buy.

Thats the suicide special- mainly used by the Russians for that game they play- i forget its name - where they have one round in the chamber and each one takes turns firing it. :-)

This is an ethnic joke, commonly referred to as a "(Russia's western neighbor) revolver". Amazing what you can accomplish with PhotoShop. Cheers.

Russian Roulette answers some questions. But there is one other doubt mentioned earlier - why the foresight and rear sight?

You guys don't know what you're talking about, you have not trolled enough at enough gun websites. Russian Roulette can be played with any simple, run of the mill, mundane, regular revolver. In fact I heard of a story where some bloke setup a high stakes Russian roulette game with a semi-auto. In good faith, he went first and lost.

What makes this one specially suited for that game, I don't understand !!! In fact, I'd say, from all the horror stories I read about the IOF revovlers, I'd say we can play an Indian version of Russian roulette. Load up all chambers of the IOF revolver and play, in this case, you'll be lucky if the round does NOT go off. Considering the alleged bad reputation of the IOF revolver, everyone playing the game will be a winner.

HSharief that was in a lighter vein. We are aware that any revolver will serve the purpose. /S/

...it appears that the revolver has not been seen by anyone in Bollywood ...wait till that happens...and you might see the hero whipping out the revolver and hitting the bad guy following him....(over his shoulders ofcourse)

Of course buddy. I'm just adding to the lightness. I purposely left out any smileys to kick it up a notch :)
