Hello folks I chanced upon this handgun at our local Malkhana a couple of years ago and inspected it thoroughly at that time. The workmanship is as good as any imported automatic that I have come across although in terms of design, it looks quite funny.

Amazingly this photo surfaced again just last week through a friend travelling from southern Mizoram.
I have never seen a gun such as this and was wondering if someone in the forum could identify it. It's a .22 by the way.
My guess is that Its origin could be bangladesh or china.

blowback, cross between the P7 and glock...low axis, may ride well in the hand

Simply a local cobble job I assume
Seeing that a very basically equipped workshop with good hands can produce very nice and sound pieces, this particular one looks like no particular feat of illicit skill.
Only time consuming aspect in building the thing would have been checkering the whole gob!!

That will threaten the cozy jobs of a lot of IOF people... imagine the trade unionism then...

Are you aware, an NGO is asking to grant Small Scale Industry status to the illegal gun factories of Bihar / UP.
Nowthis will take the cake. Bank loans to set up a cottage gun plant ?
Where do NGo's get their ideas from ?
