Interesting, it appears to be a wild dog of some sort with a disease called Canine Scabies, which around here is called "Mange". It is a skin disease caused by mites. Doing a search for either of those terms should bring up plenty of information.
I have seen several animals with it5, but never this severe as in your picture, poor animal!

Hey Nags,
> As Marthandan has described the creature - having body parts of various animals - such a creature apparently does not exist.
> If you look closely at the creature's shoulder, hump on the back & the shape of the hock / rump & skin texture......
IT'S A FELLOW NAGA ( YOUR PAL) WEARING THIS SPECIALLY MADE OUT FIT - PRESUMABLY TO TAKE PART IN A SHOW - LIKE JUNGLE BOOK
> Very cleaverly done
> A word of advice - Pl tell your friend not to venture out at dusk or night - He may inadvertantly be the unfortubate victim of a butt full of birdshot

Mark and AB is not entirely wrong. Specially beacuse you didn't show those long claws in the first snap.Evolution wise.... Bears are more closely related to dogs.

I agree it would have been easier to identify from a pic like this:
Just don't post any pics asking to identify trouser snakes please!
