LOL, there are a few of those around.
They think meat comes from a Supermarket.
They think that just banning guns will make crime go away.
They think that Vaccines cause autism because they saw it on Oprah.
I could go on but you get my drift

I am in complete agreement with the lady, she does have a point you know, I suggest the safest place to put those signs, where people will take immediate action is next to railway track, on the side of a F1 circuit and the other one next to a runaway.,,

On a more serious note; Whitetail Deer populations are very high at present and have been so for a while. There are several factors that have caused this but there are more deer in the continental USA today than when the first settlers came to this continent.

When driving down most of Americas highways, it is a common sight to see road killed deer at the side of the road. Hwy 94 that goes from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St Paul to Chicago is one example. Incredibly, there are deer road-kills almost every mile. Hitting a deer at 70 or 75 mph will basically total out most passenger cars. In many cases, this will cause death or severe injury to the occupants of said cars. October to December are the worst months for vehicle-deer accidents. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 1.5 million deer-vehicle collisions happen each year in the United States. Those accidents cause about 150 deaths and $1.1 billion in property damage annually.

Traditionally, one of the tools used by conservationists was to rely on the annual deer hunt to keep numbers down. Though if the wolf population keeps growing, we won't have to worry about that. One of the redeeming features about American higher education was that you were taught to think outside the box and you were encouraged to think of unconventional ways to solve problems. Nowadays, that seems to have changed and thinking like the rest of the herd is encouraged. With an increasingly liberal bias in the media and an almost pathological left wing attitude in school's and colleges, the number of people who hunt has decreased drastically and continues to decrease.

Consequently, you will see deer crossing signs more frequently.

I wonder if some wolf pheromone will help? Or a horn that sounds like a predator. You honk and it sounds like a lion or something.

Quotes - " It surprises me that the Dept of Transport WOULD ALLOW deer crossings to be here " ROTFL ROTFL " Why do WE allow deer to cross here? " " Deer will be safer at school crossings " " The govt can DIRECT deer population by putting up a sign!! Why don' they do it? "

In her head -Transport Officer puts up sign saying - " Bambi can cross here " and also, deer are literate enough to read signs. :uncontrollable: :uncontrollable:

Typical.
