WTF they need to show the hockey stick shotgun videos to idiots in Punjab/India - they are baxx busters or mule kick could cause more harm to self -- some of the videos were close to fatal especially the one where the kid fired pistol into his dads chest or stomach in a party
the other scary one was the rifle barrell splitting into 2

quiet funny.thank god that we don't have these calibre in india.
i was surprised to see some barrel's being blown.what could be the reason,i wonder.i was under the the impression that gunsmiths abroad are very competitive!!!!!

Barrels being blown up like that usually mean that there was an obstruction in the barrel. So it could have been a squib or the barrel could have been plugged with dirt. With revolvers, it could mean the gun wasn't timed right or there could have been an excessive charge in a reload. It is usually user error that causes that.
I've done stupid crap like that where I have inadvertently loaded 9mm rounds in a .40 S&W magazine and vice versa. That is why they tell you at the range to only take out one gun or caliber at one time. What upsets me is when I see guys give children or women large caliber guns to fire without any instruction. When they get hurt or scared, they might be permanently turned off guns after that.
