Rust Free Powder????

Dear IFGians,

Can across this news item today -

Anup Shukla, assistant general manager of Small Arms Factory, told PTI adding, the barrel length is 127mm and it can carry six rounds.The biggest advantage of this revolver is that it uses rust-free powder, which cannot be used in ordinary revolvers.

Can somebody enlighten me on What is this rust free powder?

LOL, I think that is something that only Mr Anup Shukla can help you with.

His revolver is like Clark Kent, a mild mannered handgun hiding behind its antiquated looks and poor fit and finish. However, in actuality, it can leap tall buildings, be more powerful than a locomotive... erm... what ...no? Oops sorry! Wrong character.

Oh! Hey! It can do what no other revolver can do; use rust free powder... So There!

The biggest advantage of this revolver is that it uses rust-free powder, which cannot be used in ordinary revolvers.
Now you know why the IOF chaps charge "Rs 1,10,774" for it.
