The rooster, because if the rooster didn't come first the chicken won't be able to lay eggs :D

Really, Pryan? You must be a city boy. A chicken can very well lay eggs without a roosters help. They won't be fertilized, but they'll still be eggs.

Me, city boy? I live in a village actually. I have raised chicken long time ago and soon planning to get back on it. You are partially right about me not knowing that chickens can lay eggs without mating (TBH I was surprised the first time I saw this post)
It was just a joke BTW

nagarifle, I honestly didn't know it. Also, things like mating of animal, human intercourse, pornography are unmentionable here. Specially to a (then 13) boy like me. BTW I can't afford to place a camera in our chicken coop :P
Meanwhile I'm building a cage from bamboos to raise some chicken again. I'd be able to write a novel about their romance then :D

Aha,now i get it..guys,its exactly like what happens with humans. The female human being produces ovum every month or so. But,it would be a baby only when its fertilised by a sperm cell.
