the shape is triangle, thus it implies an international s*** hole in the area
a rock garden perhaps on a rock carrier

A bamboo triangle with rocks placed on it so that it cannot be stolen.

Very Interesting. Could you explain to us how the mechanism works?

The trap is built like a leanto with one bamboo pole holding the triangular roof at one corner. A bait or a long rope is attatched to it and when the quarry gets hold of the bait, the lid comes crashing down. Else, the one who sets the trap hides some distance away and pulls at it when the quarry gets under the trap. Simple, even nags got it, although at the second time!

The French revolution thing fell to cut the head. This triangular thing seems to be one for cutting the thingie..(Hence the family planning triangle!!!)

Hi Guys,
> Looks like the booby traps made of bamboo slivers coated with cowdung used by the Vietcongs during the Vietnam war against US marines.
> Some tribes in Kerala lay these to trap mouse deer & other small game in the Wynad jungles.
