But there is another side to this Gutsy lady Ms Venus Raj journey - her father is an Indian who disowned her and the mother. She reportedly grew up in a village and they even try to take her Miss Philippines crown away because she couldnt prove her ethnicity! Some bumpy road she traversed and she did represent India in a way no thanks to her deadbeat dad.
