I'm old enough to remember when the original DOOM was released. Doom was offered for download on the Univ of Wisconsin servers and it crashed when everyone tried to access it at once.
While the BFG and the rocket launchers were fun, I used to love using the Nail gun. I wore out many mice playing DOOM (often late into the night).
