You mean apart from the eyes ?
Difficult to look down a scope with a closed eye.

Probably deciding wheither to look at the photographer or the target,
has got him looking all cocked eyed,
apart from all the rest of the photoshopping

Those photoshopped eyes are really weird.......especially the open one !
I had an M14 once - a National Match. Superb...............and then semi-auto centrefire rifles were banned. Oh well......................!

The poor bloke, while right-handed, is left eye dominant. That's why his right eye is shut, while he's looking through the scope with his left. If he'd kept both eyes open, as he ought to, you wouldn't have noticed. More people than you think are right-handed but left eye dominant. And you only notice that about them when they are shooting. Hold your arm out in front of you, thumb up. Shut your leftt eye, if your thumb stays put, you're lucky if you're a right-handed shooter. If your thumb moves, you're left-eye dominant. Cheers.

Deeper analysis:
His finger is not on the trigger; therefore he may be viewing thru the left eye only to guage the field on which he has to keep his scope on; following which, he could open his right eye (closing the left) to aim thru the scope. I knoe how naturalists do this - look at the field and then view thru the binocs.
His right eye IS Partly open though.
The Indian flag os some bit of photoshop, atleast, that is what I felt.
But overall, it looks very much like a pose for the camera man - like maybe one for his girl friend
