> He told Tom not to panic & not do anything to excite the Gorilla & that he would be there soon.
> A small crowd had gathered by then to watch, when the Zoo Keeper arrived in a pick-up, carrying a shotgun, a pair of hand cuffs and a fierce looking Rotweiller on leash.
> He handed Tom the shotgun, handcuffs & the dog and told Tom....
> Look buddy I am going up the tree and shake the branch on which the Gorilla is perched - Being an Ape the Gorilla would do the same & I will keep climbing higher & keep shaking the branch.
> Chances are that the branch cannot hold the weight of the Gorilla and he will fall to the ground - when that happens let go of the dog.
> The dog is trained to go for the Gorilla's 'Smackaroos' - the Gorilla to protect himself will bring his hands forward to protect himself - You just walkin and put the handcuffs on him - I'll take care of the rest.
> Tom smiled & said "Hey that's great' - tell me you've accounted for the handcuffs & the dog - what's the shotgun for?
> The Zoo Keeper said - Chances are that I may slip and fall - in which case - "SHOOT THE DOG"!!!!
