Hi dear All , I am interested in importing a gun rest /vice ( Sure shot make ) from e-bay. Is it advisable or would it get struck up on way. Any experiences or advice please ,before i commit to the purchase.
What Gurus have to say about it and about import of similar /related items by postal route ? Please enlighten.

Importing a gun rest through the courier route should not be a problem. It is neither a prohibited or restricted item. Just make sure that the word "gun" is not mentioned in the sales invoice and other papers accompanying the package. Request the seller to describe it as a stand or something. That way you will have less hassles with the customs people. Not sure about the duty you will be charged for it though if at all you are charged.

How did it go through........did you get the vice???........i was thinking of getting one myself via similar method if everything was OK with your efforts.......
