2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
I have been reading on this forum that most of the shooters want a adjustable trigger for their IHPs. Here is a design for the same. Anybody can use it to their best advantages. I will put a detailed design here very soon.
P.S. : I don't intend to patent it, so don't bother about law suits.

Re: 2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
Fantastic. Will it go straight onto a IHP 25or 35 ?

No it will not. There should be an extra housing which is not seen here. Lets wait...
Moreover where is the two stage? I can see only the lever got extended.

Re: 2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
As promised here is a final design of IHP 2 stage adjustable trigger. This trigger set can be fixed directly to IHP 25 & 35 without any modifications to the airgun.
This trigger can be adjusted for first stage weight of pull, first stage trigger travel & second stage weight of pull. I am also trying to achieve the adjustment of second stage trigger travel but original design does not allow much scope for that.
Prototype of the same is under construction & I will let you know the final results thereafter.

Re: 2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
There are huge difference between concept of first picture with the current one. Don't understand the concept of nuts in the rear side.
Still stages concept are missing.
The idea of direct attachement is excellent! I understood it preeety clear. Go on..

Air devil....write up...on how it works, detailed 2 dimensional drawing in AutoCad/Cadian, specification of components with bill of material would complete your good work...

A blown up diagram would be the best.. Hope I dont mean to be demanding, but that would be the best way for most people to understand.pkjeetesh";p="63351 wrote: Air devil....write up...on how it works, detailed 2 dimensional drawing in AutoCad/Cadian, specification of components with bill of material would complete your good work...
.. And really great work AirDevil
.. May I suggest you remove your personal email from the diagram. Dont want this post to end up deleted because of that

Thanks for your comments. I have put my email address only for easy communication & if anyone is against it then I will happily remove it.
I had thought of providing complete plans of this trigger but after receiving such a massive responce & suggestions I have decided to test a prototype & offer this product for sale as an aftermarket enhancement therefore it may not be possible for me to provide any detailed plans at this stage.
Just in case if I drop the idea of manufacturing it in future then I will surely provide here complete plans alongwith measurements & bill of material.

Airdevil,
Thanks for listening to me and accepting my suggestion. I'll volunteer an IHP for the prototype. Let me know when I should deliver the air rifle to you.

Re: 2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
Fantu, don't get too excited. With the current design second stage still not achievable.
From the first picture, it is impossible. and in the second picture, the trigger house having the same length of the "sear engagement" which will make the job impossible
airdevil , I think Someone needs to be a little open minded in this kind of forum. Don't post design unless one have mind to share. I guess you are into design and you understand well therefore; it is not easy to copy a design and then transform to a product unless you share dimensional details.

Re: 2 Stage adjustable trigger for IHP
Tirtha,
Cut airdevil some slack wilya ?
What you wrote below, applies more to you than airdevil Just re-read your posts on this thread and decide for yourself.
The way I read your posts, it appeared to me as if you know airdevil and are quite certain that a better trigger for the IHP is impossible (its not, as I know the doc already built one for the IHPs but it was not adopted by IHP,)
I am optimistic about this project and even if it goes belly up nothings lost, for me, you or any of us. But if it rocks, wont you be one of the first to put it on your IHP ?

Thanks for all the encouragements from all you fellows out there.
Tirtha, please learn to re-assemble the airgun first ( 2nd part of your failure is still awaited on forum ) & then think about something as complicated as 2 stage trigger. The project is mine & I know how much to share & with whom.
One does not become expert by merely visiting as many websites & then re-publishing the contents by morphing it.
Do something original first. Don't just expect someone to put up drawings, measurements, materials online so that you can copy the same to make a product from your local welder. As far as my product is concerned everyone will know the results once the prototype is tested & you can also have finished product there after.
Thanks

Great Job! Perhaps once the prototypes are out, you can iron out the small hickups.
