IHP 35 .22cal , Side screw problem

Post by Rex1586 » Fri Nov 07, 2008 7:39 pm

hey everybody, , my IHP's right side screw hole , is worn out due to over tightening of the screws i guess :? , the little curved washer just below the wood has actually made the hole on the wood bigger & deeper :o , the screw falls and the rifle makes a squeaky noise every time i try to cock the rifle :x , but i tried to search a nut for screw in the hardware stores near by  , and failed to find a nut of the same size, here is a pic to give you guys an idea of whats going on ...

any suggestions for a permanent fix  ?

Use cup washers of the appropriate size.
