LUBRICATION OF SYNTHETIC BREECH SEAL AND PISTON SEAL.

The purpose of this new topic is to have true knowledge on lubrication of seals especially of springer. There is lot of videos in YouTube regarding this but are all confusing. Some uses a dab of moly around the outer skirt of piston seal and some uses silicon oil. Some says synthetic seals needs lubrication after every 1000 pellets and some says it needs lubrication after 3000.
Some says synthetic seals are self lubricating and some says there is nothing called self lubrication.
Some says silicon oil tends to react with metal parts leading to formation of sand like deposition,I am not a chemistry student so can't name its chemical name.
But as springer is a mechanical machine so every part of it is prone to wear and tear.LUBRICATION enhances life of every running parts apart from making it smoother to shoot.
I know every airgunner has their own recipe for their airrifle lubrication.I hope they will address it properly.
Thanks.
