Rifle maintenance in India

Dear Folks:
What's the usual climate in which a imported / Indian rifle should be kept?
I cam eot know that rifles under humid conditions get jammed and rust.

Yes no matter where you live in india, there will be some rains. Usually when not using its always better to keep any gun coated with oil, on the other surface you can wipe with oil soaked with Machine oil at least. All action and inside barrel should be also well oiled.

Always check before monsoon season and clean it again.
