what is the FPS that you are getting now - also where can i purchase some of this - Polyurethane.

In Bangalore, it should be in City Market.

The rod which are available will be medium hardness and will be best for seal. I am still using the seal and Striker too. I found it good for my gun. But it is not for direct drop in for any indian gun. Why? because they use pipe available in marker for compression chamber. And I am sure you know how pipe are made.

Polyurethane rod is commercial name. Shouldn't be difficult to find. I don't have any any commercial chronograph to check. I have made a manual chronograph and did a back calculation which give me 700 fps after 200 shots.

It was however given around 850 but I have reduced to 700 to archive better accuracy.

Just another thought, by putting synthetic seal, you will get much higher FPS may be 50 at the best. What you will get would be less maintenance, less dieseling and therefore consistency shot after shot.
