Hi penpusher(and Shamsher),

Well it does look like an interesting alternative. Nice of you Shamsher to share the idea. To be honest, I've not heard of it or tried it out. From Shamshers de.scription, it's similar in chemical action to those proprietary cold blue formulas. Most have similar compositions only varying minutely in terms of additives to enhance/speed up or stabilize the oxidizing action. Same too with must rust blue and brown formulas.

Shamshers pre-treatment(Cleaning/degreasing) can't be more meticulous. Thats good. Most times blue operations don't turn out too good simply because of inadequate cleaning.

I'd certainly like to give Artic BK 155 a try and see if it's stable and hard wearing.

Unfortunately no such shop or distributor in my little town- Shamsher where you at? Can you arrange a bit for me...of course I'll pay for it! :)

The Atric shop at MBD was closed today,

Ask a dealer in Delhi that you wish to measure the pistol cartridges before buying them...you wont have to wait too long to get those great looks from the dealers....
